Colombo, Sri Lanka, Aug. 14 -- Ministry of Defence and Urban Development issued the following news release:
Deputy Minister of Defence, Major General Aruna Jayasekara (Retd), and Defence Secretary, Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyacontha (Retd) attended the launch of two books authored by Dr. Roshanie Dissanayake, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government, at the Sri Lanka Institute of Development Administration (SLIDA) on 13 August.
The book launch, held at SLIDA, featured the unveiling of two publications titled 'Nirisan' (නිරිසන්). The author presented the copies of the books to the Deputy Minister and the Defence Secretary during the ceremony.
Minister of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government Hon. (Prof) A.H.M.H. Abayarathna graced the ceremony as the Chief Guest.
