Colombo, Sri Lanka, Sept. 2 -- Ministry of Defence and Urban Development issued the following news release:
An Indian National Defence College (NDC) delegation, led by Major General Pawanpal Singh, paid a courtesy call on the Deputy Minister of Defence, Major General Aruna Jayasekara (Retd), yesterday (Sep 1) at his office in Colombo.
The visiting delegation, comprising senior foreign military officers currently on a study tour in Sri Lanka, was warmly received by the Deputy Minister. During the meeting, both sides engaged in a cordial discussion covering areas of mutual interest.
The Defence Advisor and the Assistant Defence Advisor from the High Commission of India in Colombo were also present on this occasion.
