SYMPOSIUMS OF UNDER-COMMAND INSTALLATIONS OF SECURITY FORCES (EAST) SUCCESSFULLY HELD

Colombo, Sri Lanka, April 16 -- Sri Lanka Army issued the following press release:

The symposiums of the under-command Installations of Security Forces (East) were held on 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th April 2025. The "Mini Eastern Sentinel 2025" seminar was also held at the 23 Infantry Division Headquarters on 03rd April 2025 under the theme of enhancing the professionalism of the Sri Lanka Army and its contribution to national development. Major General P.S. Subhat Sanjeewa RSP nps psc, the General Officer Commanding, 23 Infantry Division, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

The symposium of the 24 Infantry Division was also held on 04th April 2025 with the participation of the Officers of the 24 Infantry Division with the aim of enhancing the strategic mindset and expertise of Officers, ensuring their readiness to address future challenges. The event was graced by Major General H.C.L. Galappathti RSP USP, General Officer Commanding of the 24 Infantry Division.

22 Infantry Division symposium was held at the 22 Infantry Division premises on 05th April 2025 with the aim to enhance the strategic mindset and professional expertise of Officers, ensuring their preparedness to face future challenges in the evolving security landscape. The event presided over by Major General H.D.L.S.L Perera RWP RSP ndc, the General Officer Commanding of the 22 Infantry Division.

The symposium of the Logistic Command (East) was also held at the 3 Sri Lanka Ordnance Corps auditorium on 06th April 2025 with the gracious participation of Major General W.M.S.N Wijekoon ndc AATO, the Commander- Logistics Command (East).The event aimed to enhance the strategic mindset and professional expertise of officers, ensuring their preparedness to address future logistical challenges.

These symposiums were held under the direction of Major General P.R. Pathiravithana, USAWC psc, Commander, Security Forces (East), with the supervision of the Commander- Logistics Command (East) and the respective General Officer Commanding of the under command divisions.
